Forest chalkboard wall

Guide by : Paul

How to create a forest section chalkboard wall. Dimensions should be adjusted to fit your walls.

Forest chalkboard walls

step 1

Measure and mark out the area you are looking to transform.

step 2

Use stencil 1 from the wall stencil pack to set the baseline height of your trees.

step 3

Plan out your trees. The trees don't need to sit centre of each section. Use the stencil guide to mark out your tree shapes. As we are creating a single block area the tree shapes should overlap on this occasion.

step 4

Check you're happy with your marked out tree block .

step 5

Fill the area with blackboard paint.

step 6

To add the tree trunks, find the centre of each tree and use stencils 2A or 2B to add the top part of the trunk and stencil 1 for the lower part of the trunk. You can create depth in the trees by not applying the top part of the tree trunk to every tree.

step 7

Use stencil 1 for the lower parts of the the trees.

Finally you can add a few leaf details to finish your forest chalkboard.
